SimCity BuildIt has been out for a couple of years now but it's the kind of game that you can pick up and play anytime you have a spare couple of minutes. Who doesn't like controlling a whole city?
This mobile-friendly freemium game (iOS and Android both have the game at over 4+ stars in reviews) features nice graphics, a persistant world, lots of buildings to place, resource production, trading, goals and quests, just what you'd expect from a SimCity game but in a mobile format.
I've been playing the game on-and-off for several months now and it is easy to jump in and get started even after being away for weeks. The problem of course is that once you start, it's hard to stop.
If I had to pick things to complain about they would revolve around items you need to upgrade a building disappearing from the market when you need them. Wow, but if you bought some in-game money you could get that... It's clearly not an accident but that is the way a freemium game often works. The solution is to either grind away and produce what you need, keep trying to buy the item or put up real cash to purchase game currency to get it.
All-in-all it's a fun game and if you haven't tried it give it a whirl.
